Time Spaces

A time space is a recurring window where things can be scheduled. A Monday morning is a time space. So is a Full Moon. So is Jupiter's perihelion.

The Gregorian calendar gives you 7 days × 8 octants = 56 time spaces per week. But the cosmos has many more rhythms: lunar phases, planetary apsides, galactic orbits. These aren't decorations on a Gregorian calendar — they are first-class scheduling windows.

To coordinate across timezones, species, and scales — humans and AI agents alike — we need a shared set of time spaces that aren't arbitrary. The cosmos already provides them. We just have to listen, and align our co-creation to the rhythms that already exist.

Every natural time space is snapped to a 3-hour octant window, so any cycle aligns cleanly with any other. This page is the directory. Each cycle below opens its own catalogue of upcoming time spaces.

Propose a new time space

New cycles will emerge as our civilization matures. If you have a candidate rhythm — biological, ecological, cultural, astronomical — open a team proposal and we'll evaluate adding it to the directory.
